Para el WBC Charlie Montoyo

Para El Clasico Ex-Titan Campeon

"Former Montgomery Biscuits manager Charlie Montoyo will be a part of this year's World Baseball Classic. Montoyo will be a coach for his native Puerto Rico, Puerto Rico team general manager Lou Melendez said Wednesday on XM's MLB Live.
As an amateur in Puerto Rico he was a member of the now legendary "Titanes de Florida" championship team of 1982. Montoyo was later selected by the Milwaukee Brewers in the sixth round of the 1987 amateur draft. In 1993, he was traded to the Montreal Expos, and later that year hit a game-winning double in his first big league at-bat. Since his playing career ended, he has been a minor league manager for a decade. Beginning in 2004, he led the Montgomery Biscuits for three years. After the leading the Biscuits to a Southern League championship during the 2006 season, Montoyo was promoted and named manager of the Triple-A Durham Bulls. "
